For its Haute Couture Spring ’25 show at the Grand Palais, Chanel showcased a collection in which the codes of the brand and its timeless pieces were celebrated and revisited. In a groundbreaking staging that included two interwoven C’s at the center of the venue, models walked up and down, showcasing the beautifully made looks.
This year, the brand celebrated 110 years of Haute Couture with a show that transported us to the beginnings of the brand and how its DNA has been cherished over the years. Coco Chanel’s vision was progressive at the time, proving that the same codes still feel modern to this day.
The show transitions from day to night through a diverse color palette, ranging from black and midnight blue to pastels and bright hues, representing a cycle. The choice of colors creates a vivid and youthful interpretation of the brand, which is usually associated with black and white.

Structured tweed suits were the star pieces of the collection. Revisited with a modern approach, they were displayed in a tapestry of styles. From shorts to skirts and pants, their different versions exuded an aristocratic air. Tweed, a staple of the brand, played an important role by adding texture to the overall collection. Through its different iterations, it transitioned from a cocktail piece to a daytime outfit.
Playful silhouettes in light fabrics, showcased in bohemian dresses with ruffles, created a more dynamic and youthful approach to the collection. Silk crepe fabrics added a sense of movement to the garments, offering a breezy and more informal silhouette.

Bringing the idea of glamour, satin fabrics and sparkling, sequined looks offered a fresh perspective on Chanel’s classic style. Embroideries testified to the technical excellence that has accompanied the brand’s name over the years.
Continuing the tradition, a bridal look closed the runway. Blending classic elegance with contemporary sophistication, the look featured a rich embroidered cropped jacket paired with a voluminous high-low tulle skirt, creating an ethereal and romantic scene.
