Paris Proves  “Worth It” with L’ORÉAL Runway Show

PFW kicks off the week with a star-studded catwalk performance

L’ORÉAL brought the fashion week energy with a a beautiful spectable featuring some of its glamorous brand ambassadors, Viola Davis to Jane Fonda, as well as Simone Ashley and Cara Delevinge. The show highlighted six different segments all related to the power of beauty. Strutting the runway with the words “Walk Your Worth broadcasted on the monitors behind the models, as a play on the brands original tagline, “Because Your Worth It.”

The event welcomed about 3000 guests to the French capitals most historical institution, Opéra de Paris. Celebrities and empowering women like Heid Klum, Eva Longoria, and Camila Cabello all hit the stage with bold statment dresses showcasing the democratization of fashion and beauty.

It appeared the models were walking on cloud 9, and for Eva Longoria, that appeared literally as she swooned the crowd in her organza-free flowing, white sculpted dress. The pattern of the fabric swirled around looking like a cloud. A deep plunged V-neck brought attention to her dazzling diamond necklace, while her high leg slit showed off her strappy silver heels and toned legs.

Another show stopper was Kendall Jenner, who closed out the event with a form fitting red-hot ensemble. The cut out gown has a semi-sheer bra accent, with an asymmetrical mock neck, and a larger cut out revealing her mid-section. Kendall not only wowed the crowed with her outfit, but she sported her new hair color – a barbie blonde, which popped against her vibrant look.

The ladies of L’ORÉAL did not disappoint, and showed their worth in the city of dreams. The seventh rendition of this annual event, L’ORÉAL continues to make inclusivity, women empowerment, and sisterhood the most important facets of true beauty.
