Simkhai’s Fall 2025 Collection Is A Declaration To Dressing Up

Johnathan Simkhai presented his fall 2025 collection with an exciting runway show this past weekend during New York Fashion Week at a high-rise in Hudson Yards. With a mix of female and male models, the collection was composed of both women and men’s styles. From elevated evening wear to industrial-inspired knits to expertly tailored silhouettes, the new collection beautifully plays homage to dressing up.

Inspired by a trip of his to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, CA, most of the pieces, while modernly made, have a lived-in, worn look giving them a sense of vintage character. Chunky coats and sweaters arrived with distressing details over midi and mini skirts. Large leather jackets paired with coordinating looks and motorcycle boots added a rebellious edge. Jewel-embellished knit sets complete with a pair of hot shorts shimmered down the runway. Men dressed in elevated sweat suits with exceptionally tailored peacoats. Leather maxi dresses in deep greens and reds made for a quintessential cool girl look. Pinstripe suiting moments arrive in the form of an oversized blazer and mini for women and a blazer and trouser for the men. Sheer, embellished dresses are feminine and give a subtly sexy energy to the collection. Show-stopping statement gowns close out the collection with a stunning medley of vintage looking jewels and brooches all over. When it comes to accessories, oversized suede bags stood out as luxe, hero pieces alongside oversized woven clutches.
